Sept 28th SCPA Round Robin supporting the Backpack for Kids Program
This is a fundraiser event. You do not have to be a member of SCPA.
Please bring your donations to the sign-up desk on the day of the event.
Donations for the event are $5.00 up. We appreciate your generosity.
The Backpack for Kids Program round robin fundraise is sponsored by the SCPA in support of BPFFK. This program is approved by the Griffin-Spalding County School system and administered by Spalding County Collaborative Authority for Families and Children to provide meals to children on each weekend during the school year.
When you arrive you will be assigned a number. Your number remains yours throughout the session and dictates which court you play on, with whom you are playing as a partner, and against which opponents. By the end of six games you will have played with six different partners and against 12 different opponents! You may have a “bye” (where you sit out for one game) if there is an uneven number of players signed up. A seventh game consisting of the “bye” players enables everybody to play six games.
