SCPA will host a CPR/AED training class on June 28th from 9:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Spading County Pickleball Association will offer an ADULT/INFANT/CHILD - CPR/AED TRAINING classin an effort to educate as many people as possible in life-saving CPR/AED skills.
The cost is $16.
CPR can save a person from disability and death in the first few minutes of sudden cardiac arrest. We become a safer community as we educate more of our community with CPR skills.
You do not have to be a SCPA member to attend.
The class is scheduled for
SATURDAY, June 28, 2025
from 9:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
at Wyomia Tyus Olympic Park.
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: June 21st
The $16 cost includes the American Heart Association Heart saver CPR/AED certification card.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of death in the United States, accounting for 325,000 deaths every year.
Without CPR in the first minutes of a cardiac arrest, permanent brain damage or death can occur in less than 8 minutes. The chances of survival decrease by 10 percent for every minute that a person goes without CPR. CPR is one of the most important factors in saving that person’s life.
Registration and prepayment for the certification card is required.
The CPR certification card will be issued from the American Safety and Health Institute/ASHI.
