Course Description: Players who enroll in this course will continue to develop the fundamental skills learned in the 100 series (or from previous playing experience). Subsequent sessions are aimed at incorporating skills gained in previous classes. Instructors will demonstrate drills that can be done outside of class to enhance skill development. Although all classes are not required, taking them in all in sequence is the best method for improving.

Students should possess the following skills before enrolling in a 200-level class:

    · Be 3.0 or higher skill level

    · Be able to maintain a 5-6 shot rally with regularity

    · Have a basic understanding of fundamentals including dinking, volleying, third shots, serving, and returning

The “round robin” is a structured format of play, organized by skill levels. In the time allocated to each round robin session, you will play six games, each with a different partner and against a different pair of opponents. It is designed so that all players are playing against people of roughly equal ability, which makes play the most fun and competitive for most players.

When you check in, you will be assigned a number. Your number remains yours throughout the session and dictates which court you play on, with whom you are playing as a partner, and against which opponents.

By the end of six games you will have played with six different partners and against 12 different opponents!
